Rick

Lead Technician

Rick has been a part of our family since 1985 (!!). His expertise in the mechanical field ranges from vintage Mercedes to the latest technologies. Rick has maintained an ASE Master Technician Certification since 1987 and is a once in a lifetime kind of Technician. We are honored to have him as a part of our team and family.

Eric

Automotive Technician

Eric is the newest member of our team joining us in June of 2018. He is a 2nd generation team member and we are excited to have him in our shop!

Josh

Shop Manager &
Technician

Josh joined our team in 2004 and graduated with honors from the Santa Fe College Automotive Degree Program in 2006. His expertise ranges from basic mechanical knowledge to advanced computer technologies on the latest modeled Mercedes-Benz. Josh is an excellent Technician and we know our future as a business is secure as long as he is here.

Tyson

Operations Manager

Tyson is the newest member of our team joining us in January 2017. He handles the "odds and ends" ranging from the business finances, service advising, lawn maintenance, shop upkeep and more. He is currently studying Business Administration at Santa Fe college and has over 3 years of high-level management experience.

Frank

Owner

Frank has over 45 years of experience with Mercedes. He had a vision of what kind of business he wanted to run and in 1984 he executed on his dream. Though he does not work on cars anymore, he still shows up to work everyday and his charisma carries on to the rest of the team.

Dot

Owner & "The Bookie"

While Frank may have been the face of the business, Dot was the one who made the ends meet. Her expertise in organization and bookkeeping kept the finances in order and the business afloat through tough times; earning her the nickname of "The Bookie". Though she is not at Star as frequently, her presence is always felt through her wonderful, caring heart.
